Style of classes
The main style of yoga
practiced at Inner Sun is Vinyasa Flow. Vinyasa Flow yoga incorporates fluid movements
with deep, rhythmic breathing. Linking movement with breath enhances the
health benefits of each pose including greater muscular strength and tone,
increased flexibility and joint mobility improved circulation and hormonal
balance. When the body and breath
are unified and inspired by Spiritual intention, the practice becomes
meditation in motion. You can then connect to your “inner sun” or spiritual
heart and open your heart to create a more focused and calm state of
awareness and peace.
Which class is for me?
Yoga is not about levels or rating your
practice, but about joining with your own effort and being. Our
classes do vary in intensity and heat and modifications are
suggested so you can adjust to your individual needs. Keep in mind that everyone
is at a different stage in their practice day to day. You work to your own potential by using
your breath and body to still your mind.
On any given day,
depending on how you feel, you may need to practice at a modified pace or
with more intensity.
I have never done yoga before!
I’m not that flexible!
Flexibility is not a
requirement to practice yoga!
It is recommended that you begin with a yoga private, personal
training sessions or a Fundamentals Workshop. Our lower intensity classes are suggested
until you are more familiar with the flow yoga series. Please call us at 920-651-1279 if you are
unsure of which class to start with.

THAI YOGA
Some people call Traditional Thai Yoga “Lazy Man’s Yoga” because the
therapist is skilled at supporting the client in stretches that are yoga
poses. The therapist works energy
lines, called Sen Lines in Thai, while the client is in the pose, which has a
synergistic effect in opening and energizing the body. Clients who practice yoga often find that
regular Thai Yoga sessions enhance their practice, allowing them to stretch
and open more quickly and avoid injury.
Thai Yoga therapy has many benefits including:
ü Relief of pain due to arthritis, repetitive stress, overworked muscles
ü Enhances your practice of yoga, pilates, and other physical modalities
ü Balances the body’s energy pathways
ü Better resistance to injury
ü Improved range of motion
ü Release of lactic acid and other toxins from areas of accumulation
ü Toning of internal organs
ü Increased energy and peaceful alertness
ü Emotional calming and deep relaxation
Rates for 50 minutes
$55 single visit
$50 ea. for 3 or more visits

CORPORATE YOGA
One of the major
challenges facing employers today is maintaining a staff that is both
motivated and genuinely content with the working environment. Yoga is an excellent tool to reduce
physical and mental tension, leaving the body and mind invigorated. Employees who are healthy and stress-free
are happier, perform better and have fewer sick-days. Unlike other forms of exercise, employers
are seeing positive results when employees practice yoga, since stress
reduction is one of yoga’s greatest benefits.
We would be happy to come to your workplace and
give a one-hour presentation on yoga to encourage your employees to begin a
yoga program at our studio. Call
920-651-1279 for further questions or to schedule your workshop.
